Half of the grill plates are ribbed to provide the appearance of grill marks on foods, and the other half are flat to prepare items that are usually cooked on a griddle. The auto-balancing top plate is fitted with heat-resistant handles, ensuring employees don’t burn themselves when accessing foods. Made of cast iron, the plates are durable, and they retain heat for long periods of time.
The Waring WDG300 panini press has lights that indicate when the unit is on and when it’s ready to cook. It can be used to cook foods as thick as 3 inches, making it a great choice for preparing sandwiches and tortillas. Made of brushed stainless steel, the body provides resilience and resistance to rust and corrosion. This unit includes a drip tray that catches debris, and it can be removed for cleaning.
